
The Registered Dietitian (RD) is uniquely qualified to assist those struggling to make nutrition decisions. The media hype and fad diets in our world make figuring out what foods to eat and how much to eat very difficult for some. The RD, in tandem with the client, can make recommendations for positive changes that are sustainable. The RD takes into consideration the whole person, their lifestyle, food preferences, goals and health status when making dietary suggestions. Small changes often hold the most promise for internal change in eating style. The overall goal is to have the individual become a confident eater who finds real joy in eating.
