Are counseling sessions confidential? Does insurance pay for counseling sessions? Since you are a Christian counseling center, will I be judged for what I say? How do I make an appointment? Are counseling sessions confidential? Your counselor is either a Licensed Professional with the Indiana Health Professions Bureau or is under the direct supervision of a Licensed Professional. That means your session content is confidential with very few exceptions, most of which have to do with endangerment to oneself or another person. You, as a client, will have to sign a Release of Information Consent Form for us to speak to any other person about your case. Back to Top Does insurance pay for counseling sessions? We are out of network with ALL insurance companies, however, many times your health insurance will cover part of the fees for counseling. If you would like us to verify your out of network benefits before you schedule an appointment, just go to our home page and fill out the "intake form". Once you have submitted the pertinent information, we will do our best to confirm your coverage within 48 hours. Typically health insurance will cover part, but not all of the fees. However, we try never to turn someone away from receiving help because of an inability to pay. We'll do our best to work with you and make it an affordable process.
