"I could not be more proud and pleased with the staff of FCA. We have a clinical team prepared to treat the majority of problems and features associated with client needs, whether emotional, psychological, psychiatric or relational." --Tim Heck, Ph.D.

Steve Christner, LMHC
"I have been working with adolescents, teens, and families for the last eight years as a licensed mental health counselor. I work out of a brief therapy orientation which may involve cognitive behavioral therapy, structural therapy, and more recently motivational interviewing. I have treated and worked with individuals who struggle with ADHD, Anxiety, Depression, and Parenting Issues to help clarify what is important and process the life each person wants. After graduating with a Master of Arts in Counseling I took additional courses at Christian Theological Seminary to learn more about family therapy and systems theory. More recently, I am a student at Ashland Theological Seminary studying Spiritual Formation in the Doctor of Ministry program. As an Indiana transplant I enjoy biking, fishing, hiking, and try to get back to Vermont to soak up the Green Mountains when I am able." --Steve Christner, LMHC

Curtis Trent, MA, LMHC
I completed my Masters-level training in Counseling Psychology on the west coast and have returned to central Indiana to be near family and friends, and to set down roots for my vocation as a Professional Counselor. My counseling focuses on persons with the following needs: Pre-Marital and Couples Counseling, Depression and Anxiety, Chemical Dependency and other Compulsive Behaviors, Men's Sexuality, Stress and Life Transitions, and Adolescents and Families. My approach to counseling can best be described as collaborative; establishing a trusting relationship between Counselor and Client is a very important part of the counseling process, as we will collaborate on strategies for the changes that you desire, whether cognitive, behavioral, emotional, interpersonal and/or Spiritual.
